So I did draw the Phone security vector as planned and I am going to share how I draw it in this tutorial.
Here is the final result; You can download the editable (.svg, .eps and .pdf) file here
There are phone security vector to draw and all of them is about the login or sign in security.
- Face Recognition
- Pattern Lock
- Finger Print
I already share about how to draw the phone in this page;
I do trace a picture from public domain website using Pen (bezier) tool and this is the result. There are so much step to if I make the tutorial of drawing the character but basically you just need Pen tool to trace from picture or photo, and then fix the lining using Shape tool. I probably would make a full post about how to draw avatar using Inkscape.
Use Rectangle tool to draw the face-targetting corners.
This is the easiest one to draw. You just need to use the Ellipse tool (F5), adjust the object size. Then activate the Page Grid (#). Use Duplicate (Ctrl+d) to copy the ellipse and Ctrl+Drag to locate their position.
About drawing the finger print vector tutorial, we already made a post about it here in a full page:
Pin / Password
To made this one, we need to make the circle first.
- Use a Ellipse tool (F5), draw a circle.
- Adjust the size, make it as it look comfortable enough for you to see
- Copy that object, make it smaller
- Select both object, open Align and Distribute. Choose Center on vertical axis and Center on Horizontal axis.
- Still selecting them, go to path >> Difference (Ctrl+-)
The next is put a number inside it. In real phone usually there are letter as well like abc below the number 1 and def below the number 2. But in this simple vector we are just using numbers. Activate the Grid, Duplicate (Ctrl+D) these object and change the numbers. Locate it like this picture below.
I used Maiandra GD Font to write the number.
That’s all I can share about this phone vector drawing tutorial. I hope this helps you to improve your experience using Inkscape. Thanks for visiting.
